    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was selected by a Major Energy Company to perform 25 miles of preliminary and construction surveying and engineering services through one of the area's most congested electrical facility corridors for a propane pipeline throughout Harris County, Texas. WES provided professional Land Surveying services for all aspects of the project, including route selection, preliminary drawings, and as -built services.

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded one segment out of three portions of a 720 mile Natural Gas Liquids Pipeline, which originated in Midland, Texas. The 20-Inch pipeline traveled through the Eagle Ford Shale and terminated in Mont Belvieu, Texas for fractionation. Weisser's area of focus contained 46 miles of the pipeline's most congested corridors from Freeport to Mont Belvieu, Texas. Weisser used its extensive knowledge and expertise of the Harris County region to successfully navigate the pipeline through crowded corridors while keeping the project on schedule. WES supplied the project with 8 -10 crews initially for pre -construction and concluded the as -built period with 2 -4 crews. WES provided Land Surveying services for all aspects of the project including route selection, preliminary drawings, and as -builts.

    Weisser Engineering and Surveying (WES) was recently awarded the opportunity to perform professional surveying and engineering design services for a well -known pipeline company in Cotulla, La Salle County, Texas to deliver a six -inch LPG Pipeline to its customer in South Texas. Using Skyline Development Software, WES completed the necessary engineering and drafting services with high attention to detail for QA/QC.

Recent Projects

  1. Sweeny Cathodic Protection Project

    In 2017, Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to provide Professional Land Surveying and Drafting services for Texas New Mexico Power (TNMP) to aid in the development of a new Power Line Easement leading to a Cathodic Protection Site southeast of the Phillips 66 Sweeny Refinery. The project ran through the well -known 219 -Acre Rhodenbaugh tract of land and was completed with efficiency to the pleasure of the entire team. WES provided the Metes and Bounds Legal Description and Survey Plat for the 2,700 -foot long by 10 -foot wide easement for acquisition. WES also provided construction staking for the placement of the new powerline. WES completed the project on schedule and within budget.

  2. Kinder Morgan's WATCO Facility Projects

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to serve as the "On -Call" Project Surveyor for the development of Kinder Morgan's WATCO Facilities in Galena Park, Texas starting in late 2012. WES' services included the initial property Boundary Delineation Surveying for the leasing sites, all the way through the project As -Built Surveying completion in 2016. Additionally, Weisser performed similar scope on two previous projects. The first was the development of an ethanol facility in Deer Park, which began in 2010. The second was addition of a new bay at an existing truck rack. The latter included the construction of the new bay, as well as storage tanks and terminal pipelines.

    Throughout the project span of six years, WES completed Construction Layout Engineering and Land Surveying services for installing pipelines entering and exiting the facility, miles of rail, multiple tanks, detention areas, roadways and facility dock sites. The facility dock surveying included laying out the breasting plates, docks for the loading arms, fire water sites, fencing and mooring dolphins. Lastly, WES also produced As -Built volume calculations for all tank dikes and detention ponds.

  3. 18th Street Drainage Improvements Project

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) had the opportunity to provide Professional Land Surveying and Mapping services for stormwater drainage improvements involving 18th Street, 17th Street, 19th Street, 21st Street, Avenue N, Avenue O, Avenue K and Avenue N for a total of approximately 14,000 Feet from the North side of Galveston Island and the Intercoastal waterway stretching South to Seawall Boulevard. WES conducted Topographic and Right of Way Mapping services and delivered the associated AutoCAD Files and Control Maps to the client. The project is expected to be completed under budget and within the project schedule.

  6. 5th Ward Drainage Improvements

    As part of an effort to improve drainage within the City of Houston's 5th Ward Neighborhood, following years of major floods, a grant was obtained from the State of Texas, through the General Land Office, by the City of Houston Housing and Community Development to redesign drainage structures. WES engaged to collect all underground public and private utilities along the proposed drainage routes. In addition, WES collected elevation cross-sections along existing roads and roadside ditches, inlets and manholes along the 18,00-foot route. The existing right-of-ways were researched and defined after collecting field property monument data. The final 3D AutoCAD drawings were prepared and submitted to the Client for their design. 

  7. A Houston Based Midstream & Storage Leader

    Beginning in 2011, due to WES’ knowledge of Gulf Coast Facility Expansion, Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was honored to assist a National Midstream Leader in the development and expansion of their Mont Belvieu, Texas Terminal and Storage Complex. The project spanned over 6,000 Acres, involved over 75 individual parcels and 15,000 Feet of new Pipe Rack Systems. The project purpose was to provide both product storage and the refining of Petroleum products. Initially, WES conducted Professional Boundary and Topographic Surveying services and delivered Parcel Plats for property acquisition. Next, WES prepared a lengthy Tree Survey of every tree throughout the Complex of at least four inches or more for the Tree Remediation Requirements by the City of Mont Belvieu, Texas and included over 700 Hundred Trees. Next, WES established horizontal and vertical control and set monumentation. Simultaneously, the Client’s construction contractors sought assistance in developing the base map for their plant expansion portion of the project and survey support in the design and implementation of 15,000 Feet of additional Pipe Racks attached to existing infrastructure. Additionally, WES provided extensive Survey data for Preliminary and As-Built segments of seven Brine Ponds for the Storage Facility and five new construction train facilities. Interestingly, the facility itself is sitting on top of the Storage Cavern, which is uncommon. This major Complex Expansion Project is currently still in progress.

  8. AOI Campus Expansion

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) performed Construction Surveying services for the expansion of AOI's corporate offices. The expansion included the addition of a multi-story facility, along with a multi-story parking lot in Sugar Land, Texas.

  9. A Oil Pipeline, Storage and Transportation Company’s New Marine Terminal

    In 2016, Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was asked to perform professional Engineering Design & Land Surveying services for a new major Tank, Pipeline and Marine Facility located along the Houston Ship Channel in Harris County, Texas. Initially, WES surveyed the 188 Acre property for acquisition, followed by Topographic Surveying before the clearing of the site. In Addition to the site survey, multiple Pipeline Routes and over 40 Tank locations were surveyed and designed to service the Marine Facility. Currently, WES is conducting Construction Surveying, As-Built Alignment Sheets, Permit Plats, Temporary Work Space Exhibits to finalize the project.

  10. Big Sky Real Estate Auction Project Series, 54 Parcels - 60 Day Project Schedule

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was selected as the Project Surveyor to prepare 54 property surveys within a 60-Day project schedule within Harris, Brazoria, and Galveston Counties for a major financial institution’s Real Estate Auction. The tracts of lands varied in size from 15 Acres to over 700 Acres. The short time-line required continuous (24 Hours a Day / 7 Days a Week) dedication from WES Team Members to complete the project in time for the Auction. Because many of these tracts were part of a foreclosure process, confrontations with existing and neighboring land owners required finesse and diplomatic measures to assure safety and completion of the project. WES submitted all Property Surveys on time line and enjoyed the challenge along the way.

  11. Brazoria County, Texas - Brazoria County Road 58 Widening

    In November of 2015, Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was selected to perform professional Land Surveying and Mapping services of County Road 58 from County Road 48 west to the west end of Lindell Estates, Brazoria County, for an approximate distance of 2,600 feet. The Right of Way mapping including setting control monuments, abstracting the ownership deeds for all landowners along the proposed widening area and preparing right-of-way maps and control maps of the route. Also, WES produced parcel plats and legal descriptions for the affected parcels including setting corners.

  12. Brine Water Pipeline

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was selected by a Major Energy Company to perform 25 miles of preliminary and construction Surveying and Engineering services through one of the area's most congested electrical facility corridors for a propane pipeline throughout Harris County, Texas. WES provided professional Land Surveying services in support of this proposed Brine Water Pipeline for all aspects of the project, including route selection, preliminary drawings, and as -built services.

  13. CenterPoint Energy’s Brazos Valley Connection (BVC) Project - 34 Parcels | 13 Miles

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES), a continuous service provider of CenterPoint Energy (CNP) performed Professional Land Surveying and Platting Services for CNP’s Brazos Valley Connection (BVC) Project in Southeast Texas. WES’ portion of the project included surveying a 90-foot corridor adjoining the west side of an existing 180-foot CNP corridor and a portion of a Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) corridor. The project began at the CNP Zenith Substation in Northwest Harris County and ended at Gibbons Creek Reservoir Power Generating Plant in Grimes County. The total length of the overall project covered 58 miles across Harris, Waller and Grimes Counties. WES surveyed all tracts of land in Harris County and a portion of tracts in Waller County along the project route. The total number of parcels included in the WES section resulted in 34 tracts of land, spanning over 13 miles. WES prepared Parcel Plats of each owner crossed, Parcel Plats of required access easements and the client’s specifically designed Right of Way “T-Maps” to CNP. The individual parcel corners were monumented with iron rods. Lastly, WES also provided AutoCAD files of Right of Way maps to CNP. The project initiated on February 17, 2016 and all deliverables were submitted to the client in March, 2017. WES’ knowledge and capabilities of operating within highly congested corridors throughout Harris County highly contributed to the project’s success for its client.

  14. Choate Road Realignment Project, Harris County, Texas

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying was asked to partner with GC Engineering to perform professional Land Surveying and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) services for the realignment of Choate Road, Harris County, Texas. The project spanned over 9,000 Feet and included multiple utilities within the project boundary. The utilities WES located included natural gas, petroleum products, water and sewer pipelines. The Project Scope included Quality Level "A" & "B" SUE services, along with detailed Topographic Surveying and Right-of-Way mapping for the total length of the project. 

  15. City of Deer Park EMS Annex at Fire Station No. 3

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to perform professional Land Surveying services for the renovation and expansion of The City of Deer Park's EMS Annex at Fire Station Number 3, Harris County, Texas. WES services included providing professional Boundary and Topographic Land Surveying for the nine (9) Acre tract of land, as well as locating and identifying above and below grade Utilities.   

  16. City of Deer Park Fitness Center

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to perform professional Land Surveying services for the rehabilitation and expansion of The City of Deer Park's Fitness Center in Harris County, Texas. WES' services included providing professional Boundary and Topographic Land Surveying for the 375,00 Square Foot Facility Site, as well as locating and identifying above and below grade Utilities. 

  17. City of Katy City Hall Building, Katy, Texas

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to perform Civil Engineering services for the new Katy City Hall Building in downtown Katy, Harris County, Texas. The site measured at approximately one acre and was constructed in Downtown "Old Katy". WES handled the coordination of public utilities to the site, along with paving and grading of the surrounding sidewalks and street transitions. WES also coordinated the availability of water and sewer services to the site. This project consisted of entirely new construction to replace a smaller, older City Hall Headquarters. WES worked together with Turner Duran Architects for the entirety of this project.

  18. City of Mont Belvieu Water Line Replacement

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was selected to perform Professional Land Surveying and Mapping services for the replacement and extension of an existing 8-inch water line for the City of Mont Belvieu. The Project extended for approximately 8,200 feet along State Highway 146 to Farm to Market Road 3360 (Eagle Drive). WES services included essential boundary tie-ins into the Right of Way easement, the identification of existing utilities and improvements, along with topographic surveying throughout the project. 

  19. Coastal Water Authority (CWA) - Luce Bayou Interbasin Transfer Project (LBITP)

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) provided professional Land Surveying services for the Pipeline Relocation portion of the $380 Million Bayou Interbasin Transfer project. The purpose of the LBITP is to provide additional surface water supplies to end users that utilize water from Lake Houston. The project will supply an additional 500 Million gallons of water from the Capers Ridge Pump Station to Lake Houston for CWA's end users. This system runs over 27 miles from Trinity, Texas to Lake Houston.

  20. County Road 220 Roadway Widening Project

    WES had the opportunity to provide Boundary and Topographic Surveying services for the Right of Way acquisition of addition easements for the widening of County Road 220 from SH 288 to FM Road 523. Initially, WES set horizontal and vertical control for the project. WES prepared the abstract maps, retracement maps, over 25 individual parcel plats and metes and bounds descriptions.

  21. Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Improvements

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to perform professional Land Surveying services for the design of improvements on the 75 Acre Entertainment Facility located in The Woodlands, Montgomery County, Texas. WES' services included providing professional Topographic Land Surveying, setting Ground Control and extremely detailed Utility Mapping for the notable establishment. 

  22. Emergency Services District (ESD) No. 8 Fire Station, Montgomery County, Texas

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to perform Civil Engineering and Subdivision Platting services for Montgomery County ESD No. 8 Fire Station. WES performed all necessary plat preparation, drafting, meetings with Montgomery County Platting Department, submittals to appropriate private and governmental entities, preparation and submittal of applications, obtained approval letters, and recordation of plat to complete the project.

  23. Fort Bend County/ Westpark Tollway/ FM 1093 Tollway Expansion - 127 Parcels | 7.9 Miles

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was asked to partner with Dannenbaum Engineering to act as the Project Surveyor for the extension of the joint Fort Bend County Toll Road Authority and Texas Department of Transportation project, Westpark Tollway / FM 1093, Phase I & II (SH 99 to James Lane, City of Fulshear). Initially, WES provided the abstracting of the individual property records and existing underground utility research. Next, WES Field Crews performed detailed boundary and topographic surveying services of the entire extension segment, extending a total of 7.9 miles. WES Drafting Professionals generated parcel plats for the right of way acquisition, metes & bounds descriptions of the takings, and lastly, plan & profile drawings for the engineering consultant. A total of 38 inclusive 24”x36” map sheets were produced for the entirety of the project. WES Project and Platting Managers stayed within the project schedule for both phases. A total of 127 tracts of land from 0.60 acre to 564 acres (+/-) were surveyed to facilitate the right-of-way acquisition. Due to the allocation of public funding, the project was expanded over a longer project schedule than most private projects. WES completed its portion of the project in 2016 and fulfilled all project responsibilities.

  24. Galveston Causeway Bridge Replacement

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was selected to perform Professional Right of Way Delineation and Topographic Land Surveying services at the north and south ends of the Galveston Causeway Bridge for the replacement of the structure. WES established project control for the 2,200-foot project. The project was completed on schedule and within budget. 

  25. Gulf Coast Municipality - 40 Acre Industrial Area Acquisition

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying was selected to perform Professional Boundary Land Surveying services of a 40 Acre property and a 30 Foot wide Gore Strip of land for the acquisition of an Industrial property in Galveston County, Texas. The area included blocks 234, 235, 236, 294, 295, 296, 354, 355, 356, 414, 415, 416, 474, 475, 476, the intervening streets, avenues and Gore Strip for the municipality. WES completed the project within two weeks from the Notice to Proceed and was under budget for the client.

  26. Harris County Toll Road Authority, Williams Pipeline SUE Project, Harris County, Texas

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES)  won the opportunity the opportunity to produce two (2) Level "A" Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) investigations for Harris County Toll Road Authority (HCTRA) to relocate an active 30 Inch Williams Pipeline, which was crossing State Highway 249 and Sam Houston Tollway in Harris County, Texas. In addition, WES provided probing services for the project. 

  27. Houston Based North American Midstream Energy Provider

    Since 1995, Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) performs Bi-Annual Sounding Surveys Pre & Post Hurricane Season on the Brazos River for a Houston Based North American Midstream Energy Provider using both Global Position Systems (GPS) and Echo Sound Technology. The Soundings are used to develop a 3D Model, which is contoured to determine depths used for clearances (45 Feet) of large ocean-going vessels to and from Ports. WES also determines dredge volumes, if needed. The typical distance of the project has been approximately 3,000 Feet Long by 800 Feet Wide. WES also prepares contour maps after Hurricane Events for submittal to the United States Coast Guard for reopening waterway channels for Commercial use.

  28. Houston Community College - SW Campus Parking Garage

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) performed Construction Surveying Services for the building of a parking garage on Houston Community College's West Loop Campus.

  29. International Petrochemical Company, Brazoria County, Texas

    In 2015, Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to provide Professional Land Surveying Services in Brazoria County, Texas to survey 1,250.054 Acres, with an additional 80 Acres, for a well known International Energy Leader for a future Petrochemical Facility. The site was owned by a rural agricultural entity, consisting of cultivated acreage, cattle dwelling pastures and various homestead tracts surrounded by multiple adjoining properties. The project included County Roads, various Subdivision tracts, large acreage tracts, a major Railroad corridor, major overhead Electrical Power lines that paralleled or traversed the project area. Multiple cross-fenced acreage properties separated multiple sectors of the parcels. In addition, Geotechnical Borings were staked in strategic locations and coordination with Engineers was necessary for Site Testing and Wetland Delineation. Confidentiality Agreements were executed with WES Team Members to ensure the purchasing entity’s name was not released to the public.

  30. International Petrochemicals Industry Leader

    Twice a year, since 1989, Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) conducts Bi-Annual Subsidence Surveys of a Salt Dome Cavern Facility in Brazoria County, Texas. This procedure was conducted to ensure the stability of the Storage Facility and confirm that the Cavern had not shifted nor moved. In the beginning, WES set 10 Foot Benchmarks to conduct the survey. During this effort, WES recognized the excessive moisture on the top of the ground. This excessive moisture would cause the Benchmarks to swell or shrink with the top ground layer’s movements. In order to receive consistent and accurate data, WES replaced the 10 Foot Benchmarks with 25 Foot Benchamarks. In total, WES set and Bi-Annually monitors 80 Benchmarks and 25 Well Sites throughout the Cavern Facility using High Accuracy Digital Levels.

  31. International Refining and Storage Company, Brazoria & Matagorda Counties, Texas

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was selected to provide Professional Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, Hydrographic Surveying, Platting, and Permitting services for over 300 individual parcels of land across Brazoria & Matagorda Counties for a large Refining and Underground Storage Complex facility that spans over 11,000 Acres. The Complex is divided into five different facilities, spanning 50 Miles across the neighboring Counties. Over the of the past 30 years of supporting this Refining and Storage Facility Complex with Land Surveying services, WES has maintained the overall Database and Ownership Plat. Initially, WES conducted Boundary and Topographic Surveying services to produce Parcel Plats for property acquisition. As large expansion properties were added to the complex, some over 3,000 Acres of land at the time, WES updated the Master Ownership Plat. The tracts of land involved were anywhere from less than .5 Acres to 2,000 Acres in size. Additionally, WES set ground control, plant monumentation and maintained existing monumentation on all tracts of land. Lastly, WES was involved in the surveying of Complex’s Deep Water Ports, large Tank Farms, and Underground Salt Dome Storage Facilities, the monitoring of shallow water Barge Facilities, Docks and Dredge Spoil Piles.

  32. International Refining and Storage Company, Brazoria & Matagorda Counties, Texas

    In addition to providing extensive Professional Boundary and Topographic Land Surveying services for a 11,000 Acre Refining and Storage Complex in both Brazoria & Matagorda Counties, Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) also supports the expanding Facility with our Construction Surveying expertise. As the facility expanded, WES was tasked with keeping detailed records of the construction of the Facility and included the following individual projects: The implementation of the Coker Unit & Associated Rail Loop & Conveyor Belt (2 Year Project), the Fractionator Unit (2 Year Project), the Co-Generation Plant (2 Year Project), the Ethylene Unit (1 Year Project), the Continuous Soil Sampling of Plant Land Farms, Detention, Drainage, Site Design & Layout for multiple Expansion Projects and the Underground Utility and Pipeline Investigation. In addition, WES has located pipelines, Electric Duct Banks, Water Well Staking, Cavern Well Staking, as well as development of the Texas Railroad Commission Permits for the Well Sites. WES also provided Construction Staking services for numerous Pipe Racks throughout the vast Facility. WES also provides Disaster Recovery Services (24 Hours a Day / 7 Days a Week – when applicable) for locating and tracking movement of damaged facilities. Throughout the progression of the Facility Expansion, WES has overcome potential congestion obstacles throughout the crowded Complex by enforcing strict Quality Assurance – Quality Control methods.

  33. Intrastate Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) Pipeline Project 720 Miles – 46 Miles (WES’ Segment)

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded one segment out of three portions of a 720 mile Natural Gas Liquids Pipeline, which originated in Midland, Texas. The 20” pipeline traveled through the Eagle Ford Shale, through Gulf Coast of Texas and terminated in Mont Belvieu, Texas for fractionation. WES’ area of focus contained 46 miles of the pipeline’s most congested corridors from Freeport to Mont Belvieu, Texas. Weisser used its extensive knowledge and expertise of the Harris County region to successfully navigate the pipeline through crowded corridors while keeping the project on schedule. WES supplied the project with 8-10 crews initially for pre-construction and concluded the as-built period with 2-4 crews. WES provided Land Surveying services for all aspects of the project including route selection, preliminary drawings, and as-builts.

  34. John Martin Roadway Widening, Harris County, Texas

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was selected to perform professional Land Surveying services for the widening of John Martin County Road. WES provided Boundary, Topographic Surveying and Mapping services to evaluate the existing right-of-way envelope and make recommendations for the acquisition of additional right-of-way for the proposed roadway widening for 1,250 Feet. WES' evaluation included, but was not limited to, corner cuts, sight distance triangles, detention and outfalls. The project totaled in 15 parcels, which ranged from 0.0509 to 25 Acres in size. WES prepared abstract surveys, right-of-way maps and survey control sheets, all completed in accordance to Harris County Standards. 

  35. Kinder Morgan - WATCO Facility

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to serve as the “On-Call” Project Surveyor for the development of Kinder Morgan’s WATCO Facilities in La Porte, Texas in 2010. WES’ services included the initial property boundary delineation surveying for the leasing sites, all the way through the project as-built surveying completion in 2016. Throughout the project span of six years, WES completed construction layout engineering and surveying services for installing pipelines entering and exiting the facility, miles of rail, multiple tanks, detention areas, roadways and facility dock sites. The facility dock surveying included laying out the breasting plates, docks for the loading arms, fire water sites, fencing and mooring dolphins. WES also produced as-built volume calculations for all tank dikes and detention ponds.

  36. Largest National Midstream Company - Major Line Lateral Pipeline Project

    In August of 2017, Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to provide Professional Land Surveying services for the Proposed Natural Gas Liquids Lateral Extension Pipeline in Brazoria County, Texas. The project stretched over 6.12 Miles from the Pipeline Main Line to a nearby Storage Facility and Refinery for Fractionation. The project included 13 individual parcels, County and State Roadways, and a private Railroad. WES services included Boundary and Topographic Land Surveying, Foreign Pipeline Investigation and Centerline Staking for Construction. WES prepared preliminary Alignment Sheets and is currently awaiting the start of Construction. The Client’s timeline was extended after their Right of Way Department encountered a non-agreeable landowner.

  37. Largest National Midstream Company - Willbreeze Loop Pipeline Project

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was selected by a large midstream company to provide Professional Land Surveying services, Civil Engineering and new Construction Staking for an approximately seven mile pipeline located in Jackson County, three miles north of Ganado, Texas. The pipeline begins at FM 530 and travels east to FM 710. Throughout the approximate seven miles WES crossed 13 tracts of land, two county roads, four creeks, one slough and one ditch. Over the course of this project WES Field Crews experienced a difficult land owner who imposed a $15k fine if crews got off the working station. WES was also asked to perform a Tree Survey to preserve several 200 year old Oak Trees along the route. Along with having to preserve several large trees, crews had limited access to the Willbreeze Loop. There are only 4 access roads to the expansive, 13 tracts of land. WES conducted new Construction Staking for the lateral loop pipeline off of an existing pipeline to increase the amount of product the pipeline can transport. Along with new construction, WES performed an As-Built Survey on the Willbreeze Loop. Included in WES’ deliverables for our client were Parcel Plats, Legal Descriptions and Electric Easement Descriptions for where they plan to place overhead power poles. WES also supplied the client with Surface Site Parcel Plats & Legal Descriptions, Access Easements, HDD Designs & Bore Design.

  38. Louisiana Avenue Widening - City of League City

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to provide professional Land Surveying services for the widening of Louisiana Avenue for the client. The City of League City, Galveston County from FM Road 518 to 500 feet south of Hewitt Street. Initially, WES established horizontal and vertical control along the entire 1,500 foot route and tied into the current City of League City monumentation system based on the Texas State Plane Coordinate System. One substantial benchmark was set at the beginning and end of the project. Next, WES provided detailed Topographic Surveying services, which included cross-sections extending 20 feet outside of each right-of-way line at 220-foot intervals along the entire route. WES Field Crews also identified and horizontally and vertically surveyed underground utilities, as well as the environmental soil boring locations required for the project. Next, WES photographed and prepared exhibits for all existing roadway connection. For the entire proposed Louisiana Avenue realignments, WES located property corners and abstracted property ownership to establish the existing right-of-way. WES prepared parcel plats, along with metes and bounds descriptions for acquisition of eight parcels.

  39. Major Energy Leader’s Propane Line Project – 25 Miles

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was selected by Major Energy Company to perform 25 miles of preliminary and construction surveying and engineering services through one of the area’s most congested electrical facility corridors for a propane pipeline throughout Harris County, Texas. WES provided professional Land Surveying services for all aspects of the project, including route selection, preliminary drawings, and as-built services.

  40. Major Facility Company New Plant Gym & Cafeteria Site

    WES was awarded the opportunity to perform Civil Engineering & Land Surveying services for the construction of a new Employee Center, featuring a Plant Fitness Facility and Cafeteria site in Old Ocean, Brazoria County, Texas to host over a thousand shift workers at the Refinery. WES' services included performing professional Boundary and Topographic Land Surveying services, establishing Ground Control for Construction, as well as locating and identifying above and below grade Utilities for the Civil Engineering design. 

  41. Major Refining Complex, Brazoria County, Texas

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to perform Civil Engineering and Land Surveying services for the construction of a new refining facility’s gym and cafeteria site in Brazoria County, Texas. WES’ services included handling the coordination of public utilities to the site, designing the paving and grading of the surrounding sidewalks and street transitions and coordinating the availability of private water services from the plant complex to the gym and cafe site. The facility’s sanitary sewer services is handled through an on-site sewage facility (OSSF).

  42. Major Refining Complex - Railroad Infrastructure Land Surveying

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) performed Professional Land Surveying services for a new Rail SIT Yard within an expanding Refinery in Brazoria County, Texas. WES conducted preliminary Surveying Services, as well as performed construction layout design, construction staking and staking the proposed centerline for the 45 Miles of Tract at the refinery. WES Field Crews surveyed the sub-grade elevations for all 45 Miles of Rail Yard, along with the final grade elevations during the construction phase. For completion, WES conducted As-Built Surveying of the full project limits.  

  43. Major Refining Complex, Sweeny Cathodic Protection Project

    In 2017, Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to provide Professional Land Surveying and Drafting services for Texas New Mexico Power (TNMP) to aid in the development of a new Power Line Easement leading to a Cathodic Protection Site southeast of the Phillips 66 Sweeny Refinery. The project ran through the well-known 219-Acre Rhodenbaugh tract of land and was completed with efficiency to the pleasure of the entire team. WES provided the Metes and Bounds Legal Description and Survey Plat for the 2,700-foot long by 10-foot wide easement for acquisition. WES also provided construction staking for the placement of the new power line. WES completed the project on schedule and within budget.

  44. Market Square Tower Luxury High Rise

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) performed detailed Boundary, Topographic and Construction Surveying services for the building of Market Square Tower in Downtown Houston, Texas. The project stretched for an entire city block for the development and construction of the new 40 level high rise luxury apartment building with street level retail space. The expansion included 10 levels of above and below grade parking garage.

  45. METRO Burnett Street Project

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) provided Topographic Surveying at 100-foot intervals from right-of-way to right-of-way for Brooks Street, Keene Street and Trentham/Burnett Street along with ties to eight Level A and 3,500 linear feet of Level B SUE marks as identified by Midtown Engineers, LLC. Deliverables included a comprehensive Topographic file and updated DTM tin file. 

  46. Midcoast Energy Services - 23 Facilities

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was selected by Midcoast Energy to perform ALTA Standard Land Surveying services on 23 Individual Facility Sites within Texas and Oklahoma for a major asset acquisition. The client was referred to WES by a National Law Firm, who has worked with our firm during numerous projects that have ended successfully. The tracts consisted of Compressor Stations, Gas Plants and Valve Sites of various sizes. The sites in Texas were located in primarily Freestone, Palo Pinto, Wheeler, Parker, Houston, Rusk, Hood and Robertson Counties. The sites based in Oklahoma were located in Dewey & Beckham Counties. All of the sites are active and producing facilities, so coordination in terms of scheduling and safety procedures were critical to complete the surveys within the extremely expedited lending schedule and budget.

  47. Montgomery County, Precinct No. 2 Annex, Magnolia, Texas

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to provide professional Civil Engineering services for a 19 Acre tract for the site of the Montgomery County, Precinct No. 2 Annex in Magnolia, Texas. WES provided design of the civil site annex complex, which included a detention pond, extending public water resources, wastewater, drainage and paving to serve the future development site. WES oversaw the Civil Engineering portion of the project construction and later additions to the facility. 

  48. Montgomery County, Texas - Keenan Cut Off Road

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to perform professional Land Surveying services for the Right of Way acquisition and roadway widening of Keenan Cut Off Road from Highway 149 east for approximately 17,000 feet to approximately 800 feet east of Farm to Market Road 2854. This project included boundary and topographic survey for the total 18,500 linear feet of roadway and involved 11 intersecting streets. In addition, WES is currently preparing parcel plats for the acquisition of additional Right of Way.

  49. National Midstream & Downstream Energy Leader, Brazoria County, Texas

    In conjunction with the above referenced project, Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) performs similar services for another Energy Focused client along the Texas Gulf Coast. WES conducts Sonar Soundings for two different waterways in connection with the Complex, the Brazos River and San Bernard River. Just as listed above, WES regularly maps the waterways to ensure safe Barge & Ship travel. Unique to this client, after Hurricane Harvey, WES performed a 27 Mile Sounding Survey up the San Bernard River to the Client’s Terminal to determine if the waterway channel was cleared for Commercial use. Throughout the many interesting sounding projects, WES has recovered a stolen vehicle and a submerged pier.

  50. NETCO Pipeline Locating, Houston, Texas

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) provided Toning and Probing Surveying services to locate and confirm the depth of the existing 14" NETCO Pipeline running under Gessner Road, north of the intersection of Timberwood Drive. Subsurface Utility Engineering included evaluation of the potential conflicts with the proposed roadway reconstruction plans provided by the City of Houston. Deliverables included providing the location and depth information to the Client.

  51. Pasadena Refining System, Inc., Switch Rack

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was asked to provide professional Civil Engineering and Drafting Services in July of 2006 for client, Pasadena Refining System, Inc.. WES was tasked with designing a 10 foot by 14 foot concrete slab for a proposed building and concrete footings for an electrical switch rack. WES designed the concrete pad and stairs to comply with the appropriate standards inside the PRSI Refinery. The project was completed in a month and was finished with the budget. WES has a functioning Quality Assurance Program that was used for all work performed. This Quality Assurance Program provides a systematic means of achieving and verifying quality and reflects a continuing commitment to excellence by WES. The Quality Assurance Program defines areas where quality must be controlled and implement policies, procedures and methods to achieve and verify compliance with the plan. 

  52. Pasadena Refining Systems, Inc., Tank Dikes

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was asked to provide professional Civil Engineering, Drafting & Land Surveying services to design a Secondary Containment Plan for PRSI in June of 2010. The Tank Farm included over 50 Tanks. Initially, WES completed Boundary and Topographic Surveys to be able to complete the site development portion of the project. Following the surveying component of the project, WES was then able to complete the Secondary Containment Study which would define the appropriate calculations for the tank dikes to meet current standard requirements. This project was completed within five (5) months and was on budget. Weisser has a functioning Quality Assurance Program that was used for all work performed. This Quality Assurance Program provides a systematic means of achieving and verifying quality and reflects a continuing commitment to excellence by WES.   53. Pasadena SIT Yard

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) performed survey staking for a large railroad SIT yard and interconnection tracks in the Pasadena Chevron Phillips Chemical Plant. WES provided a crew for grade staking.

  54. Perry Avenue Driveway

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was selected to perform professional Land Surveying and Mapping services on a five -acre tract owned by the City of Mont Belvieu to design a proposed driveway entrance on Perry Avenue in Chambers County, Texas. WES provided exceptional Topographic Surveying services for the successful completion of this project.

  55. Phillips 66 Corporate Headquarters

    WES was honored to have been awarded the opportunity to provide professional Land Surveying services for the acquisition of the development property for Phillip 66's new global headquarters in the Westchase District of Houston, Texas. Our rendered services included full boundary and topographic surveys of the 14.183 acre property. The 14 acre professional campus houses over 2,000 Phillips 66 employees in one space that supports collaboration during the workday.

  56. Prairie View A&M Stadium

    Following the demolition of the Prairie View A&M original stadium, Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) provided Construction Phase Surveying services for the new stadium in several stages for steel infrastructure, above-ground and subsurface utilities, and electrical work, including alignment of 84 columns supporting the stadium seating. 

  57. Sand Hills Pipeline

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded one segment out of three portions of a 720 Mile Natural Gas Liquids Pipeline, which originated in Midland, Texas.   58. San Jacinto River Authority Magnolia Waterline

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was selected to perform professional Land Surveying services for the Right of Way easement acquisition for the San Jacinto River Authority's proposed 54-inch waterline throughout Magnolia, Texas along Farm to Market Road 2978. WES provided the parcel plats for the acquisition of the project easements.  

  59. South Texas LPG Pipeline

    Weisser Engineering and Surveying (WES) was recently awarded the opportunity to perform professional surveying and engineering design services for a well -known pipeline company in Cotulla, La Salle County, Texas to deliver a six -inch LPG Pipeline to its customer in South Texas. Using Skyline Development Software, WES completed the necessary engineering and drafting services with high attention to detail for QA/QC.

  60. Sweeny Plant SIT Yard

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) performed Survey staking for a large railroad SIT yard and interconnection tracks that comprised a total of 57 miles of tracks. WES provided a daily crew for grade staking.

  61. Sweetwater Sidewalk Improvements

    Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to perform professional Land Surveying services consisting of Boundary and Topographic Surveying to support approximately six proposed sidewalk easements for future "Hike & Bike" trails for the City of Sugar Land. The project extended for approximately 7,000 Feet throughout Sweetwater Boulevard and Bullhead Slough.

  62. WHCRA - Second Source Surface Water Pipeline Project - 116 Parcels | 18.75 Miles

    In January of 2013, Weisser Engineering and Surveying (WES) was awarded the opportunity to perform professional Land Surveying and Drafting services for West Harris County Regional Water Authority’s (WHCRWA) Second Source Surface Water Pipeline project in Houston, Texas. The proposed 92 inch pipeline extended for a length of 18.75 miles. WES conducted preliminary pipeline construction surveying consisting of staking easement boundaries and preparing individual easement plats for 116 parcel plats. WES also located and documented five pipelines that interfered with the proposed line to complete a conflict study. WES then performed an intensive survey study on two segments of the project including a topographic study and an underground utilities study. WES was pleased to provide interface between WHCRWA and ExxonMobil Corporation throughout the duration of the project.
